If you are considering getting an Indexed Universal Life insurance, these are the 2 most important riders (options) to consider. Please, make sure to discuss them with your trusted agent.
Living Benefits:
Critical Care Illness Rider: If you are critically ill and you have a $1,000,000 policy – you can borrow up to $250,000 for your critical care. This money does not need to be repaid, and instead will be deducted by the insurance company from your death benefit.
Terminal Illness Rider: If you have a terminal illness and emergency funds are needed (to pay off mortgage, medical costs, etc.) – they are built into the policy.
